If you set G to block, all rating are automatically

blocked.

If you set X to block, G, PG, PG-13, R, NC-17 are not

blocked.

Setting of V-Chip

5 In the V-chip setting, press / to the desired option.

6Please press the arrow buttons to select and adjust

the rating level that you’d like to block.

7 Press MENU to return to the main screen.

To use this feature, perform the following setup.

1 Press MENU to display the MENU screen.

2 Press / to move the cursor to Feature menu, then

press .

3 Press / to move the cursor to the V-Chip item, then

press .

4 The first password is 0000. After key in password the V-

Chip screen appear.

While you enter the 4-digit number, these numbers will be shown

on the screen to help the user confirm his/her password settings. However,

the password will not be display on screen the next time you enter this

menu. Star signs "*" will be shown instead.

NOTE

TV Ratings

* : The content rating can be set, but this rating is not normally broadcasted by TV stations.

x : The content rating can be set.

Example :

When TV-Y7 in the age-based rating is set to BLOCK, this will automatically block the higher ratings: TV-

G,TV-PG,TV-14 and TV-MA.In addition, D, L, S, V and FV in CONTENT are automatically blocked unless

you manually set BLOCK CONTENT.
